National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) is inviting you to join us for a party with a purpose on our 2023 cruise.
NOVEMBER 3rd – NOVEMBER 6th will take us from Port Canaveral, Florida, to the beautiful Caribbean islands of Coca Cay and Nassau, Bahamas.
This will be an unforgettable experience full of networking and fun activities. We can’t wait to see you there!

Departure Information:

Airport:

The cruise departs about for Port Canaveral, Florida. Plan to fly or drive to Orlando, Florida. A shuttle service will transfer you to the boat for $15 per person. Plan to arrive at the boat by 11:00 am is the day of departure unless you plan to arrive a day earlier. When scheduling your return flight on November 6, 2023, make sure to schedule afternoon flights.

It is highly recommended to arrive Thursday, November 2, 2023 (one day prior) to make sure you make the ship the next day. There will more information provided regarding host hotel and pier transfers.

DRIVING:

From Orlando International Airport:
Take the North exit from the airport staying to the right on SR 528 East. Remain on SR 528 East all the way to Port Canaveral. Upon approaching the port area, follow the signs indicating Port Canaveral “B” side.

From Melbourne International Airport (MLB):
Approximately 25 miles (40 minutes) south of Port Canaveral.
Exit east (left) out of the airport onto NASA boulevard and follow to U.S. Highway 1.Turn left (north) onto U.S. Highway 1. Travel approximately 20 minutes on U.S. Highway 1 passed the intersection of S.R. 520 in Cocoa about one mile to the S.R. 528 exit. Exit and travel east on SR. 528 for approximately 10 miles, crossing the Indian River, Nerritt Island and the Banana River to reach Port Canaveral.

From Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB):
Approximately 1 hour northwest of Port Canaveral.
Exit east (left) out of the airport onto NASA boulevard and follow to U.S. Highway 1.Turn left (north) onto U.S. Highway 1. Travel approximately 20 minutes on U.S. Highway 1 passed the Exit the airport south to the Central Florida Greenway (Toll Road 417). Go south 23 miles to S.R. 528 (the Beach line Expressway) eastbound exit. Go east (37 miles) to the Port.

From Space Coast Regional Airport (TIX):
Located about 20 minutes from the Port in Titusville FL.
Exit and drive east three blocks. Turn south onto U.S. Highway 1 to the Beach line Expressway (S.R. 528) and follow this east to the Port.

From Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB):
Located about 75 miles north of Port Canaveral.
Take I-95 south to S.R. 528 East and follow to the Port.

PIER PARKING:

(Self parking) For 3 night/4 day = $60, 4 night/5 day = $75, 5 night/6 day = $90, 6 night/7 day = $105, 7 night/8 day = $120, 8 night/9 day = $135.
Payment is made as you enter the facility in cash or Visa or Mastercard credit card.

Leader of Tomorrow – Cruise for a Cause 501c:

Your donation will go towards NBMBAA Leaders of Tomorrow 501C. Since its inception in 1991, the NBMBAA® Leaders of Tomorrow® Program has mentored more than 8,000 talented youth aspiring to leadership roles in professional fields. The LOT® Program is a comprehensive programmatic approach for providing leadership development to high school students. The program offers participants resources, knowledge, and opportunities in the way of mentoring relationships, scholarships, and internships.

Accepted Identification for U.S. Citizens

U.S. Passport book that is valid at least 6 months after your cruise ends. A U.S. Passport book is not required for this sailing. If you don’t have a passport, you can present an official US state-issued Birth Certificate will also need to provide a valid Driver’s License or picture ID issued by the government.

Payments:

Final payments are now due for those booked in advanced.  All new booking requires full payment at booking.

Room Block:

Many have asked about arriving Thursday night prior to Cruise. To avoid unforeseen airplane delays or flight cancellations, we recommend arriving the day before. We have finalized group room at TownePlace Suites Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach. This hotel is 7 minutes from the port and offers transfer for a small fee (around $10). Hotel will offer a delightful hot breakfast buffet and have happily waived the parking fee while on-site and for the duration of cruise (for those driving). Transportation service is offered from MCO airport to hotel by contacting our partners Park Port Canaveral for arrangements at 321-784-0000. Additional transportation service to the cruise terminal can be arranged by contacting hotel directly at 321-335-6800 once reservation is confirmed or on-site upon arrival. Shore Excursions:

We will share optional shore excursions for those interested in activities in Nassau. Please send email if interested in ATV Island and Beach tour in Nassau. 50 spots. First come. The cost is $150pp.

Gratuities acknowledge the 24/7 service commitment of your personal stateroom attendants, culinary and service staff. Guests can conveniently pre-pay gratuities at the time of booking or assign gratuities once onboard through their SeaPass account.
